Firstly, I love playing the violin. Like, seriously. I've played for almost 17 years and I still can't get enough.
I attended college for 2 years as a Music Education Major which gave me countless opportunities to learn about every aspect of music, not just how to perform. It's one thing to play the correct notes, it's another thing entirely to understand the reasons behind the notes and how to put your heart and soul into them. I have played in numerous symphonies, most recently the Murray Symphony. Over the years, I have performed in countless quartets and duos. I've always had a soft spot for solo performances, however. . . hence the reason you're reading this :)
When I picked up my first violin at the age of 10, I knew it was something that would always be special to me. As I progressed, I came to realize that music has the unbelievable ability to speak straight to the heart. In short, it makes people happy; both those who play it and those who listen. I don't think I could ever stop performing because of that simple truth.
All things considered, I am a passionate violinist who absolutely loves using beautiful and moving pieces of music to add a unique touch to your special event.
